On August 24, 2000, Lucky Chance Buff began his career as a Personal Pony. Buff traveled across the state to his new home at Majolee Farms in Kaleva, Michigan. Two years passed with Buff pursuing his career as a promotional pony which took him to parades, festivals, and even to the Michigan Stallion Expo to promote Personal Ponies. He shined at every event he attended, acting as a magnet for children and showing patience with all that approached. But equally as important, Buff served as a therapy pony at his home putting smiles on many small faces of children who needed a reason to smile.

Cinderella (Gloria) meets her Prince Charming (Buff). In April of 2002, a new challenge was presented to Buff. He would move on to the Circle Rocking "S" Children’s Farm in Freesoil, Michigan. At this home he would have the opportunity to enrich the lives of many people, aging from children to adults. It was here that one very special lady choose Buff to be her very own pony. Gloria worked all summer with Buff to show him at the Ludington Fair. For the costume class she dressed as Glenda from the Wizard Of Oz, while her pony, Buff, became her Prince Charming. They took first place in the class. It is our hope at Personal Ponies that Buff continues to be Gloria’s Prince Charming for many days to come.
