Our sock ponies are made out of Red Heel Socks from Fox River Mills.  They were inspired by the original sock monkeys and the sock horses.  These guys have shorter legs and lots of mane and tail, just like our shetland ponies.  Most of them will have a red tail and mane.  Since each one is hand made, they will vary a bit in size and looks.  Their average size is 12 inches from nose to tail and 10 inches at the top of the head.
