Tammy and one of her ponies.Tammy Teter lives in the Southwestern corner of Michigan on a small farm she calls Justa Little Farm. She has been involved with horses for most of her life and has always had a special place in her heart for the British Native pony breeds, especially the Shetland Pony.

In 1997 Tammy stumbled upon the Personal Ponies web site while searching for information about Shetland Ponies. Finding an American organization that was deeply rooted in the UK Shetland peeked her curiosity.

After several months of email conversations with Marianne Alexander, Personal Ponies National Director, Tammy was hooked. She'd found an organization which included the two things she was most passionate about, kids and ponies!
