Meet Our Volunteers ~ Vickie Sheathelm |
 Vickie Sheathelm and two
of her sisters received their first pony under the Christmas Tree
when she was 5 years old. Every since then she has held a
special place in her heart for ponies. She wanted to raise
quarter ponies for children so they could have a nice pony at a
reasonable cost. While searching the internet for information
on ponies and kids, she came across Personal Ponies and thought,
"that's exactly what I want to do!" After contacting Tammy
Teter, the State Director for Michigan at that time, she was told
there would be a wait. It was quite a while before Lady came
to live with Vickie as a promotional pony. They enjoyed working hard at promoting the Personal Ponies
Program. Lady has moved on to another job with the Brooks
family.

Vickie is now the State Director for
Michigan and the National Director of Promotion and Placement Ponies
for
Personal Ponies. She keeps busy with the
day-to-day business of Personal Ponies in Michigan along with
keeping track of all of the promotion and placement ponies in the
United States.
